Yes! We are a fully licensed and insured business.
DO YOU BOARD PETS?
Unfortunately at this time we do not have a boarding facility, but we hope to expand to offer boarding in the future!
MY PET NEEDS TO GO TO THE VET. CAN YOU TAKE THEM?
If your pet is injured or falls ill while in our care we will transport them to your veterinarian. Please ensure that you have contacted your vet to give Rest Your Paws Pet Care authorization to seek medical care for your pet on your behalf.
DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH RARE OR EXOTIC PETS?
Most of our team has some experience with exotic pets like parrots and ferrets. Please contact me to ask about specific pets. We do not care for any animals that are considered wildlife.
HOW MANY DOGS CAN YOU WALK AT ONCE?
From one household we will walk a max of three dogs at once depending on their leash manners. We do not walk dogs from different houses (pack walks) unless they have been previously introduced and with the consent of each respective dog's owner.
WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept cash, e-transfer, credit card and interact flash (additional fees apply with credit card and interact)
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO BOOK.
Ideally, bookings would be made in advance, but we require at least 24 hours notice and a member of the team must meet with you and your pet before accepting a booking if you are not a previous client. Bookings made with less than 24hr notice will have a $5 last-minute booking fee. Please note last minute bookings will be subject to availability.
I HAVE A FEARFUL DOG THAT IS NOT GOOD AROUND OTHER DOGS, IS THAT A PROBLEM?
Not a problem at all, our team takes the time to ensure all pets are comfortable around us and we do not allow dogs under my care to interact with strangers’ dogs.
